The Advance Group is currently hiring Machine Operators for a clean, organized production environment with long-term career potential.
* Safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts to move stainless steel sheets
* Operate machines including CNC, Laser, Plasma Cutters, Water Jet, Saws, and Deburring equipment
* Measure metal parts using tape measures, calipers, and micrometers
* Use hand tools and power tools to grind and finish parts
* Read and interpret work orders and diagrams
* Lift and maneuver steel parts up to 70 lbs
* Complete detailed paperwork and production documentation
* Mechanical aptitude and experience with hand tools or manual machines
* Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math (fractions to decimals)
* Strong attention to detail and safety mindset
* Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to stand for full shifts and lift up to 70 lbs
* Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and background screen
* Forklift experience
* Overhead crane experience
* Training on 1st shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (first few month)
* After training, move to:
* 2nd shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
* 3rd shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
* $22/hour
* $1/hour shift premium for 2nd and 3rd shift (once hired in)
