Production Worker – Entry-Level Manufacturing | 1st Shift | Holland, OH

The Advance Group is hiring Production Workers for a manufacturing company in Holland, OH. This is an entry-level production position with no previous manufacturing experience required. If you have a strong work history, good attendance, and are comfortable working with small parts, this could be a great opportunity to get started in manufacturing.

The company manufactures brushes and applicators used in chemical processes for industries including automotive, aerospace, and more. They have a strong company culture, excellent employee engagement, and provide hands-on training.

Job Duties for Production Workers:

• Assemble brushes, applicators, and other small components.
• Insert foam, brushes, caps, and other parts into products.
• Use a heat wand or heating element to seal felt to plastic when needed.
• Apply labels to finished products.
• Package and box finished products.
• Work at different production stations and machines depending on workload.
• Cross-train in different areas and learn a variety of products and processes.
• Use a simple computer system to monitor production pace.
• Follow safety procedures and work instructions.

Production Worker Requirements:

• No previous manufacturing or production experience required.
• Strong work history and job longevity preferred; ideally approximately 1 year with previous employers.
• Good attendance and reliability are very important.
• Good hand-eye coordination and hand dexterity.
• Comfortable working with small parts and performing repetitive tasks.
• Willingness to learn and work at different stations.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn a simple computer process.
• Must be able to read millimeter measurements on a ruler; training is provided.
• Comfortable using a heat wand/heating element when required.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs., although heavy lifting is uncommon.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and background screen.

Production Worker Shift:

• Monday-Friday
• 6:00 AM-2:30 PM
• Must be available to work until 5:00 PM depending on workload.
• Currently averaging approximately 45-50 hours per week.
• Very little weekend work.

Pay:

• $16/hr
