The Advance Group is hiring! We are looking for candidates available for first shift for immediate openings in Toledo preparing rail cars for shipment.

Pay for the General Labor position:

• $18/hr

Shift for the General Labor position:

• Typically work 5-6 days/week starting at 6am
• Must be willing to work overtime and weekends (with days off during the week)

Job requirements for General Labor position:

• Be willing to work outside year round
• Prior general labor, construction, or hand tool experience
• Must have good attention to detail
• Must not be afraid of heights (rail cars are double decker cars)
• Must have excellent attendance
• Reliable transportation
• Flexible schedule
• Motivated to learn
• Hard worker eager to find stable, long-term employment
• High School Diploma/GED and valid driver’s license to be hired in
• Able to pass a drug and background screen and random monthly drug screen

Job duties for General Labor position:

• Working outdoors, year-round, to prep rail cars
• Assembly of gears, bolts, and small parts onto multi-level rail cars at varying heights (rail cars are double decker cars)
• Clean-up and yard maintenance
• Other General Labor duties as needed
• Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions and have a flexible schedule
